After the mixed team event, the Eye-Level Cup will start on 13 October and will conclude on 19th October. 

This is for individual matches across singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. The full schedule isn’t out yet, but the tournament is expected to be as interesting and enjoyable as the mixed team tournament.  

This year, there are a couple of updates too. The 2025 BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships has a new relay format, played over best-of-three sets. In each set, the first team needs to win 45 points.

Recently, the Indian team secured a spot in the quarter-finals with a 45-37, 45-34 victory over the UAE in their last Group H match in Guwahati. 

They had already beaten Nepal and Sri Lanka and went into the final round as the only unbeaten team.

Tanvi Sharma started strong, beating Prakriti Bharath 9-5, and the mixed doubles pair of C Lalramsanga and Vishakha Toppo extended the lead. The UAE fought back in boys’ singles and doubles, but India stayed ahead.

With the mixed team matches still ongoing, more great matches are expected from the teams. 

As the Mixed team event finishes, all eyes will be on the Eye-Level Cup, which will begin on Oct 13 and continue until Oct 19. More brilliant performances are expected in the individual Tournament.
