Cricket fans across India, get ready for young talent! The Cooch Behar Trophy 2025-26 is happening now. This is India’s biggest cricket tournament for players under 19 years old.

The tournament started in late November 2025 and will continue till January 2026. Teams from all Indian states are playing to become champions. This year has brought exciting matches with many young players showing great skills.

A total of 36 teams are participating in the tournament. These teams have been divided into two categories – Elite and Plate. The Elite category contains 30 teams divided into five groups containing six teams each. The Plate category has only six teams.

The matches are First-Class cricket format. This means each match can go on for up to 4 days. Young cricketers get the chance to play long matches and learn important cricket skills.
