The Ranji Trophy 2025-26 is India’s biggest cricket tournament for state and union territories teams. This is the 91st year of this first-class competition. The tournament starts on October 15, 2025.

In this tournament, 38 teams from different parts of India play cricket matches. These teams are divided into two categories – Elite and Plate. The Elite category consists of 32 teams, while the Plate category has 6 teams. The matches in the group stage will be of four days, while the knockouts will be of five days.
