West Indies Tour of India 2025 Squad Updates

Both team haven’t announced their squad. There has been a delay from the Indian side due to internal changes in the selection committee. A BCCI official told InsideSport in an interview:

“We still have a month to go, and since this is a home series, it won’t be an issue. Ideally, we want the new selectors to come on board before the squad is named. But if the process stretches, the current committee will announce the squad.”

According to some BCCI sources, there will be some changes in the current selection panel, with two members likely to be replaced. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar will retain his position, but other selectors like Shiv Sundar Das, Subroto Banerjee, and Sridharan Sharath may leave the selection committee. The interview process for potential candidates is expected to take around two weeks, suggesting that India’s Test squad will be announced in the second or third week of September.
