Format of WPL 2026
WPL 2026 will follow a round-robin format. Each of the five teams will play against every other team twice during the league stage, making a total of 20 matches.
The team finishing first in the league will advance directly to the final. Teams finishing second and third will play the Eliminator match to decide the other finalist.
This format has been used in WPL since 2023. It keeps the tournament balanced while giving the top team an advantage by playing fewer knockout matches.
